When the things you feel
are real and true.
But at the same time they’re a lie,
and they deceive you.
The things you want most,
the things you dream about.
They will never be, not even close.
Is this all, isn’t there more?
You need something to live for.
You stand up, end then you know,
to another place you’ll have to go.
The fight is hard, the struggle is long.
But your willpower is strong,
strong enough to move on.
You step forward but then you drop,
you’re falling down,
but you know you can’t stop.
You’re breaking out of this empty shell,
you open your eyes, you’re overwhelmed.
New experiences everywhere,
and things you’ve never seen before.
Are these the things you were looking for?
There’s a feeling inside, and it starts to grow,
It’s unlike anything you’ve ever known.
You can’t place it, but then you start to see,
for the first time you’re feeling alive and free.
The fight is over, the battle is won.
Now it’s time to finally enjoy the fun
